If you want to maximise your company's presence at a trade show, it's essential that you and the rest of your team are on the same page when it comes to your exhibiting goals and how you're going to achieve them.
The easiest way to do this is to brief your team thoroughly before the event and each morning before the trade show starts.
What to include in your stand briefing
Explain where the trade show is to be held and on what dates, along with directions and a map. Include the hall and stand number; exhibition set up and break down times, along with the show's opening times. If your team requires accommodation, include details of where they will be staying and which nights they have accommodation booked.
Reasons for exhibiting
Set out your goals and objectives for exhibiting and the key message(s) you want to get across to visitors. Include any results that you want to achieve, e.g. X number of leads each day, or X amount of literature to be taken away.
If there are specific visitors that you want to connect with, for example, those with a particular job role, outline who these are so that your staff know who to look out for. Read more here
